STEPs offer non-lecture-based breakouts in conjunction with morning education symposia. They may take the form of a case-based scenario session, small audience-response-based interactive discussion, or a simulation-enhanced learning session.
Self-study station offer short, intensive, immersive experiences focused on particular disease states or clinical application. Walk through an experience designed to help you improve the diagnosis and treatment of PAH, differential diagnosis and treatment of asthma and COPD, diagnosing and treating NSCLC and radiologic examination of the patients. Self-study stations will be in the foyers of the convention center:

SEGS small breakout sessions to study clinical techniques through focused, case-based discussions and hands-on exercise using simulation equipment. SEGS will be free to attend, but space will be limited to the first 20 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Plan to arrive early. SEGS will take place in the Clinical Resource Center:

Sessions will include:
SCIDs use audience response systems to involve you in case-based discussions centered around a disease. Responses are shared with participants, so you can compare answers with your peers. Sessions include PAH, asthma/COPD, echocardiography/PA catheters, polysomnography, and PFTs. Sessions are free to attend, but only the first 30 attendees are guaranteed spots. Arrive early to reserve your space. SCIDs take place in the Clinical Resource Center:
