I am pleased to share this overview of CHEST 2012. Under the stewardship of Doreen Addrizzo-Harris, MD, FCCP, Chair, and her program committee, an exceptional clinical education program has been developed. There will be a diverse assembly of approximately 300 general sessions, as well as hands-on simulation, case- and problem-based presentations, small-group interactive discussions, and more.
In addition to the education program, you can take advantage of several special events. The headlining event is The OneBreath Evening at the Georgia Aquarium, where you can take an exciting, aquatic trip with your colleagues and friends to the world’s largest aquarium and show your support for the OneBreath initiative.
Our annual meeting continues to grow to meet your education needs. In addition to what you have experienced at prior meetings, you will encounter new experiences at CHEST 2012.
