Marketing Opportunities

Get your message out to CHEST attendees through additional marketing opportunities. Supporting a conference event or activity offers a more rewarding experience for attendees and increases your company’s visibility. As a supporter, you will receive prominent recognition through signage and inclusion in the CHEST Program Guide and online program.

New Opportunities for 2012

OneBreath® Event at the Georgia Aquarium
$25,000-100,000 (multiple support opportunities)

This year, The CHEST Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the ACCP, will hold its annual fundraising event (for 2,000 guests) in support of its OneBreath initiative on Sunday evening, October 21, at the Georgia Aquarium. This unique venue provides an opportunity to experience the wonder of marine life at the world’s largest aquarium while ensuring that The Foundation’s important lung health education programs can be expanded. All guests will have access to sponsored galleries while enjoying sumptuous food and drink. VIP guests will have additional access to don’t-miss opportunities, including private receptions and the fantastic Dolphin Tales show. This celebration is the must-attend event of CHEST 2012. Corporate sponsors will enjoy a host of unique visibility and awareness options at varying levels, with numerous opportunities to customize participation.

Wi-Fi at Convention Center
$45,000

Provide wireless service, free of charge, in the convention center. CHEST 2012 attendees will use Internet service to access the online program and other meeting features from computers and mobile devices. As a sponsor, you will be given prominent space on the HTML splash page for ads and other digital advertising. All users will be directed to this page whenever using a computer or mobile device.

Self-study Stations
$25,000 per station

Sponsor an interactive self-study station, positioned in high traffic areas. These self-contained experiences highlight a specific disease state or clinical application and last 15 to 20 minutes. The self-study stations combine proven adult learning principles with cutting-edge technology to provide an intense, immersive education experience.

CHEST Peer Pressure
$8,000

The ACCP has created an exciting new game for attendees to compete against their peers in a test of knowledge. Questions, presented by a facilitator, will become more difficult until a winner is crowned. To qualify to play or win prizes during the event, attendees must visit supporting company’s exhibit on Monday or Tuesday. As a sponsor, you will have booth traffic from game participants, and you will have the opportunity to write questions geared toward your therapeutic focus.

Theater Presentations in the Clinical Resource Center
$15,000/45-min timeslot, plus marketing and logistical expenses

Make a presentation related to specific disease states in a mini-theater setting in the Clinical Resource Center. Meet with attendees and key decisionmakers to share new research, discuss clinical protocols, conduct product demonstrations, or feature new products and services. Presentations will be made daily during the lunch break.

Advance Program
$12,000-$25,000

The advance program is the second meeting announcement, including topics and speakers, special events and activities, morning educational symposia, and more. It is mailed in July to over 40,000 medical professionals who use it to register for CHEST and plan their schedule. As a sponsor, you can place an ad to promote your company/ product information in the program.

CHEST Program Guide
$14,500-$25,000

A convenient-sized program guide is distributed to approximately 5,000 CHEST attendees. The guide is the only printed program available. It includes a listing of topics and speakers in an easy to read “program at a glance” format. Game cards for the popular Disease- State Bingo and other promotional coupons are included in the guide, making it a valuable item for attendees. As a sponsor, you can place an ad to promote your company/product information and direct attendees to your booth. An online program, featuring full details of every session and event, is available electronically only.

OneBreath® 5K Walk/Run
$30,000

CHEST attendees and guests can take an exercise break and network with colleagues during the 5K walk/run. Over 200 walkers and runners participate and receive a T-shirt and finisher’s photo, which is distributed at the sponsoring company’s exhibit booth. As the sponsor, you will be listed on signage at the event and on the T-shirt (optional). Support recognition will be made in meeting programs and marketing pieces, and you will be given a copy of the participant registration list.

Aisle Banners in Clinical Resource Center
$7,500 each or $48,000 for exclusive support

Ten to 14 banners are available for support. Each banner is 4’ x 16’ with a 4’ x 4’ section for product or corporate recognition.

$5,000-$15,000

Banners hung near the entrance to the Clinical Resource Center or at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, headquarters hotel for CHEST 2012, are available. Support banners to promote your company identity and/or brand recognition. Prices vary depending on size and location.

Coffee Breaks
$22,000, plus the cost of customized cups and napkins

Coffee breaks are offered daily in the Clinical Resource Center. As a sponsor, you can put your logo, product, or message on the coffee cups and napkins.

$1,000- $32,000

More than 5,000 medical professionals will use these scheduling tools to prepare for the meeting. Features include searchable exhibitor information, personalized maps and visit lists, sessions and faculty information, downloadable e-docs, and more. Sponsorship opportunities are available for mobile planner app ad space, online planner, on-site digital navigator opportunities, and kiosk ad space for the on-site digital navigator. These are great opportunities for name and/or product recognition online before CHEST, on site, and/or following the meeting.

Disease-State Bingo
$6,000 per letter

Disease-State Bingo is a long-time favorite game where attendees visit exhibit booths to collect letters on a bingo card. Completed bingo cards are entered into a daily drawing for prizes. This game attracts attendees to the Clinical Resource Center and motivates them to visit the exhibit booths of supporting companies. A different disease state is sponsored each day. As a sponsor, you can sponsor letters for each of the disease states.
Monday: CHEST Bingo (5 sponsorships available)
Tuesday: COPD Bingo (4 sponsorships available)
Wednesday: PAH Bingo (3 sponsorships available).

Electronic Signage
$72,000 for up to 36 signs

Up to 36 digital LCD signs can be placed outside meeting rooms and in high traffic areas, such as registration and entrances to the Clinical Resource Center. These signs display the current session title and speaker name(s) and recognize the sign supporter. As the sole supporter of signs, you can have your corporate logo or message displayed when CME programs are not being held. Your message will be displayed constantly in nonclassroom locations, such as registration, the Clinical Resource Center, and other high visibility areas.

Escalator Advertising
$15,000 each (two locations are available)

Get your message out to the attendees by advertising your brand or company logo on the main escalators at the convention center. As a sponsor, you have the opportunity to place messaging on clings located on the glass side of the escalator, chrome dividers, and floor stickers at the top and bottom of the escalators.

Help Desk
$25,000

An information booth, located in a high traffic area, is available for attendees to receive tech help and get general information. As a sponsor, you are given recognition on signage and on selected panels of the help desk unit.

Non-CME Promotional Program/Activity
$75,000 plus marketing and logistical expenses

Promotional program/activity time slots are available Monday and Tuesday evening, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. These activities do not compete with CME programs, affording a unique opportunity to present your product as a workshop and/or host a special activity—such as a poster presentation, reception, or other format—to present branded or nonbranded information to CHEST attendees. The ACCP will provide:

  • Time slots unopposed by CME programming
  • Room/set up (tables, chairs, and podium)
  • Standard signage outside the room to indicate this is a non-CME program
  • Standard AV equipment (LCD projector, screen, microphone, light pointer)

As a sponsor, you will be responsible for marketing and logistical expenses:

  • Development of the program and/or the special activity.
  • Production and distribution of invitations. (Participation in a room drop and program announcement in the daily newspaper is a separate fee contracted with TriStar Publishing.)

Program at a Glance Board
$25,000

Ad space is available on the program at a glance board, a large conference directory that over 5,000 attendees use daily to identify and locate sessions. The board is located in a high traffic area, making it an ideal opportunity to showcase your brand or message and exhibit booth location to attendees.

Shuttle Bus Service
$25,000

Shuttle service is available between select hotels and the convention center to CHEST attendees. Transportation is provided for educational symposia, non-CME promotional programs/ activities, and other events. As a sponsor, you receive recognition on signage in the bus, at the hotels and convention center, and in CHEST 2012 marketing materials. Fee does not include special advertisements, such as bus wraps, covering on seat headrests, programs on TV monitors, pillar wraps, etc.
